Tips

  • Pack clothing that is 100% cotton or linen to keep cool.
  • Pack less than you think you need, you can always wash as you go.
  • Bring 1 outfit that covers up, the sun can be relentless.

For Everyone / 1 week

  • Passports
  • Flipflops or comfortable sandals
  • Water/surf sandals
  • 1 Sneakers & 1 Socks each – good for hiking the ruins
  • Underwear and lightweight pjs
  • Sun Hat with strap – good for the kayak
  • Sunglasses

  • Refillable Water Bottles – we discourage buying 1-use plastic water bottles

  • Lightweight Scarf – for blocking sun and a touch of warmth at night
  • Hair Brush & Clips/Bands – it can be windy on the beach

For Him / 1 Week

  • Swim Trunks
  • Shorts
  • 5 Short Sleeved Tshirts and/or Tanks
  • Short Sleeved Dress Shirt/guayabera
  • Lightweight Long Pants
  • Lightweight Sweater – Nov thru Feb

For Kids / 1 Week

  • Swim Suits/Trunks/Sun Protection Rashguards
  • 2 Shorts
  • 5 Short Sleeved Tshirts and/or Tanks
  • 1-2 Sundresses
  • 1 Lightweight Long sleeved Tshirt
  • Lightweight Sweater – Nov thru Feb

And that’s it! One nice convenience we provide our guests is shampoo, conditioner and soaps that are friendly with our delicate water system – so there’s no need to pack any of that. We also have a small library of quality beach reading (more suggestions are always welcome), a great selection of movies to watch on our screen, and the classic kid’s beach bucket, shovel and truck for endless play time. Gah, I wish I was there right now!
