It’s been our dream to take the foodie experience at Casa Xixim to the next level. So we are bringing on renowned Mexico City born and raised Chef Joaquin Cardoso to curate our menu to bring you new delights. Joaquin has an impressive culinary portfolio – starting with training in Lyon, France at l´Institut Paul Bocuse, 2 Michelin stars at l´ Hôtel Thoumieux, onward to Pujol and Noma, and currently in Mexico City with Hotel Carlota, his own Loup Wine Bar and more endeavors. This retreat is the testbed for Joaquin’s new menu – with him in the kitchen. We will be his eager taste testers, plus have plenty of adventures and hammock time on the agenda.
Your custom itinerary includes all the favorite things we’ve experienced in the area over the years. Come alone and make new friends while staying in a single room, or choose a double and come with a BFF.

ABOUT CASA XIXIM
Located off the beaten path between the jungle and ocean, Casa Xixim is surrounded by wild nature. Soliman Bay is 100km from the Cancun Airport and just 14km to Tulum. The villa has private pool, beach, rooftop gardens, and includes private chef, live-in groundskeeper, and daily housekeeping. It is an ideal place to deeply vacation.
We built Casa Xixim from the ground up, basing every design decision on the ideal layout for vacationing groups seeking sustainable travel. Walls slide open and closed to maximize the connection to nature, and create the ultimate cross breeze. Rain water collection, composting wetlands, and solar power keep us running. The social gathering spaces – dining, sofa, pool, terraces – are energizing, fun, and invite togetherness. The four master bedrooms are spacious and private, with each having their own unique personality to fit everyone in your group. And each booking at Casa Xixim includes $60 allocated to Rainforest Trust to protect the most threatened tropical forests, saving endangered wildlife through partnerships and community engagement.
We are proud to say that Casa Xixim has been featured by Dwell, HGTV, ArchDaily, InHabitat, received a 2019 AIA award, and was chosen as one of the best homes by Architectural Digest Mexico.
